ABSOLUTE FLOW PILATES STUDIO
Absolute Flow is a boutique Pilates studio that opened it's doors in January of 2014. Since its expansion in March of 2015, the studio also offers HIIT and Mat classes. It's tucked away in the Eagle center away from street viewing. With small classes on reformers and springboards, each individual is able to receive attention and to better their form within their first few sessions. The focus is to help each client reach their goals. We help attain these goals by specific workouts that strengthen the body, and work towards an overall mind and body connection. One will see that everyone that works at Absoulte Flow is dedicated to helping individuals make healthy life choices

WHAT IS REFORMER PILATES ?
REFORMER PILATES
The Pilates Reformer is an exercise machine used to incorporate the Pilates exercise technique for a challenging and intense workout. Springs, leverage and body weight are used as resistance while performing movements targeting specific muscle groups. Workouts consist of controlled, flowing movements working your muscles through a full range of motion. The reformer adds increased resistance to the movement. By working to overcome this resistance, training results in increased fitness levels.

"I've been taking pilates classes at Absolute Flow since September 2015 due to ongoing back pain. Ever since I started at Absolute Flow, my back pain has decreased tremendously! I'm still going to my chiropractor for monthly maintenance though. When I went to my chiropractor last night, she said "Your back looks awesome! Keep doing pilates because it's helping!" I really appreciate the care and support from Lisa and Talani. They are true professionals, and they both know how to clearly meet the needs of their customers. Keep up the great work!"

"Lisa has been so helpful providing both private and group Pilates to make possible the rehab and enhanced functionality of my knees and hips. She has provided me more strength and mobility and determination to get fit again. I highly recommend her and her staff to provide excellent PIlates instruction and the holistic health part that goes with it."

"Barb and I have been coming here since my golf pro, Don Hawkins, recommended Lisa. Wow, was he right. I'm up to 3 days a week, Barb is at 2. My golf is better and my overall health is much improved. Not bad for a 69 year old! Try this soon!"

"I have been doing Pilate's with Lisa since June of 2013 and my body has changed so much and I've lost almost 50lbs. Lisa is so helpful and been a great motivator for me.
UPDATE: I have now been doing Pilate's for over a year and have so much strength and energy. Currently, I have lost over 80lbs but more importantly I have gained so much mentally and been educated on different ways to improve my well-being. I will continue going to the studio every chance I get. I strive to keep improving my mind and body!"

PILATES PRINCIPLES
Centering
This concept is defined as physically bringing the focus to the center of the body, the powerhouse area between the lower ribs and pubic bone. Energetically, Pilates exercises are sourced from center.
Concentration
If you bring full attention to the exercise and do it with full commitment, you will obtain maximum value from each movement.
Control
Every Pilates exercise is done with complete muscular control. No body part is left to its own devices.
Precision
In Pilates, awareness is sustained throughout each movement. There is an appropriate placement, alignment relative to other body parts, and trajectory for each part of the body.
Breath
Most Pilates exercises coordinate with the breath, and using the breath properly is an integral part of Pilates exercise.
Flow
Pilates exercise is done in a flowing manner. Fluidity, grace, and ease are goals applied to all exercises. The energy of an exercise connects all body parts and flows through the body in an even way.
